As Good as Ours :Capture the Flag: I stalked back and forth along the border between the two sides, clutching my whip tightly in my right hand. My eyes roved the dusky looming woods, trying to spot any movement. The only thing that divided me from my enemy's territory was a thin creek, the water trickling lethargically. Capture the Flag was going strong that night, and shouts and clangs echoed through the forest in the distance. All was quiet where I stood, though. Nothing but the crunch of my own feet on the fallen leaves could be heard. I was the only one on border patrol that night, and I had to stay completely alert. No one from the Blue Team had made themselves know

Seasonal Drabbles-ScottyxLotus **Winter**

"It's too cold." Her voice was barely more than a whisper, but I heard it loud and clear. I looked at her concernedly. One of her hands grasped a cup of steaming hot cocoa while she took shaky sips, and her other was clenched by her side. I could feel shivers wracking her body where her shoulder touched mine. We were walking along, the snow crunching under our feet and the wind in our cold, numb faces. I bit my lip, grabbed her hand.

"Are you okay?" Lotus stared at me as if running me through some sort of internal monitor.

"Do I look like I'm okay?" Her voice sounded irritated, and almost as icy as the slashes of snow that gr

Flowers In Her Hair - For Glideh Summer was one of Lotus' favourite times of the year, even if she didn't admit it. As a daughter of Demeter, it was a bit predicable that she would love spring, and of course she did, but there were several things she liked about summer.

She liked camp, and the freedom it gave her to fight and be herself. She liked growing plants and riding pegasi, hanging out with Elenore and her siblings.

Lotus also liked Scotty Klein.

Most people didn't get it (and frankly Lotus didn't always understand her feelings concerning the son of Nike either, which was new for her), but it didn't bug either of them.

Because Scotty liked Lotus Itami too.

Any one want to do an art trade with me?

I've been waiting on an oppurtunity to change my deviantart name for a while. But now that I can...I don't know if I want to. You guys can still call me Max and stuff. I'm kind of attatched to this name though...

Hey, I hate to sound like a shameless self-advertiser, but could you help me out and link people to my tumblr? I'm really trying to make a difference and help people. But, that's hard to do when I only have a few tumblr followers who never reblog my stuff. I want to help people. I want to be that person that people can turn to. I always am. So, will you help me out and tell people who I am. I really appreciate it.

People, words hurt. We need to think before we speak. What you say can change a person's entire day. Or more extreme, their entire life.

I hear people - particularly guys - tell their friends to go kill themselves. What makes you think you can tell them that? If they've been having a bad day and you tell someone to go kill themselves as a joke, they may not take it as a joke. They might even think you meant it. Tell me, how would you feel if someone honestly told you to go kill yourself. Not good.

It's not even just words that hurt. Watch your body language too. If you give someone a cold shoulder or glare at them, it can really hurt them. They might lose some self-confidence.

In case you've forgotten, people have feelings. It doesn't make them a baby to have their feelings hurt. Everyone gets upset. Everyone has their insecure moments. That's just how humans are. But, if you're the one triggering these moments for someone else, you better take a step back and hold your tongue. I know it might be hard to hold your tongue if your friends aren't. But, you could be someone's hero if you stood up for them when your friends are bullying them.

I know I don't have many followers, but I have a challenge for anyone who reads this post. I challenge you to go up to anyone, even if you don't know them well and compliment them. After that, go up to someone you've spoke badly to and apologize.
